5242. Service of the assignment order creates a lien on the earnings of the employee and the property of the employer to the same extent as the service of an earnings withholding order as provided in Section 706.029 of the Code of Civil Procedure.(Enacted by Stats. 1992, Ch. 162, Sec. 10.
