43. 'Ecosystem-based management' means an environmental management approach relying on credible science, as defined in Section 33, that recognizes the full array of interactions within an ecosystem, including humans, rather than considering single issues, species, or ecosystem services in isolation.(Added by Stats. 2012, Ch. 559, Sec. 7.
