16006. Subject to the approval of the commission, the department may enter into a mutual agreement or compact with the Covelo Indian Community respecting jurisdiction and authority to regulate traditional Indian subsistence fishing practices in the boundary streams of the historic 1873 Round Valley Indian Reservation.(Added by Stats. 1986, Ch. 691, Sec. 1.)
