§ 1200

1200. The department is authorized to enter into agreements with counties, nonprofit groups, private persons, individually or in combination, for the management and operation of rearing facilities for salmon and steelhead. All such agreements shall be in accordance with the policies of the commission and the criteria of the department which govern the operation under such agreements.The purpose for operating such facilities shall be to provide additional fishing resources and to augment natural runs.(Added by Stats. 1975, Ch. 1173.)
