1349. No farm lands may be acquired under the provisions of this chapter by proceedings in eminent domain except by specific authorization of the Legislature, notwithstanding any provision of Section 1348. Nothing in this section shall apply to any proceedings to acquire farm lands when the owner thereof has consented to, or requested the institution of, such proceedings.(Enacted by Stats. 1957, Ch. 456.)
