2088. This article does not authorize the take of fish species and does not apply to timber harvesting governed by the State Board of Forestry. 'Fish species' as used in this section means a member of the class Osteichthyes.(Added by Stats. 1997, Ch. 528, Sec. 1. Effective January 1, 1998.)
