2850.5. Notwithstanding any other law and consistent with the authority granted under Section 2860, commencing on July 1, 2013, the Ocean Protection Council shall assume responsibility for the direction of policy of marine protected areas (MPAs).(Added by Stats. 2013, Ch. 356, Sec. 3.
