Except as otherwise provided in this article, all moneys collected pursuant to this article shall be paid to the department, and shall be expended for the patrol of packing plants, inspection and regulation of the fishing industry, and conservation work for the benefit of the commercial fishing industries.(Enacted by Stats. 1957, Ch. 456.)
