8492. The department shall take the steps it determines are necessary to prevent overfishing of crayfish in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. Those steps may include, but are not limited to, submitting to the Legislature proposed legislation to place limitations on the commercial crayfishing in that area.(Added by Stats. 1990, Ch. 528, Sec. 2.)
