8603. It is unlawful to use or operate or assist in using or operating any net, trap, line, spear, or appliance, other than in connection with angling, in taking fish, except as authorized by this code.(Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 132, Sec. 162. (AB 1760) Effective January 1, 2024.)
