8837. It is unlawful to use or possess any trawl net that includes any bag or cod-end or modification thereof, other than a bag or cod-end of a single layer of webbing, except as authorized by Section 8496 or by the commission.(Amended by Stats. 1999, Ch. 483, Sec. 30. Effective January 1, 2000.)
