8669. It is unlawful to possess gill nets, seines, or other devices capable of being used to take mullet or carp for commercial purposes, within 500 yards of the Salton Sea and those portions of the New and Alamo Rivers designated as commercial fishing waters lying in District 22, except during such open season as may be prescribed by the commission.(Enacted by Stats. 1957, Ch. 456.)
