§ 9003

9003. Every trap shall have at least one destruction device which meets specifications approved by the department. In order to minimize the adverse effects on living marine resources, the specifications for destruction devices shall provide for a device that destructs rapidly enough to facilitate escape of a substantial proportion of all species confined in the trap from any trap that cannot be raised.(Amended (as added by Sec. 20) by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1271, Sec. 23.)
