(a) Spears, harpoons, and bows and arrows may be used for taking all varieties of skates, rays, and sharks, except soupfin sharks.(b) This section shall become operative January 1, 1999.(Repealed (in Sec. 4) and added by Stats. 1993, Ch. 1174, Sec. 5. Effective January 1, 1994. Section operative January 1, 1999, by its own provisions.)
