(a) Powered equipment of such design as may be prescribed by the commission may be used to take crustaceans and mollusks under a revocable permit issued by the department and under such regulations as the commission shall prescribe.(b) Taking of lobster or crabs under this section is subject to Article 5 (commencing with Section 8250) and Article 6 (commencing with Section 8275) of Chapter 2 of Part 3 of Division 6.(Amended by Stats. 1985, Ch. 1442, Sec. 21.)
