12008.5. Notwithstanding Section 12000, the punishment for taking any bighorn sheep in violation of Chapter 11 (commencing with Section 4900) of Part 3 of Division 4, or any regulation adopted pursuant thereto, is a fine of not more than two thousand dollars ($2,000) or imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one year, or both the fine and imprisonment.(Added by Stats. 1986, Ch. 745, Sec. 4.)
