Any person who is charged with a violation of this code or a regulation adopted pursuant to this code, who willfully violates their written promise to appear in court or before a person authorized to receive a deposit of bail is guilty of a misdemeanor regardless of the disposition of the charge upon which the person was originally arrested.(Amended by Stats. 2023, Ch. 132, Sec. 219. (AB 1760) Effective January 1, 2024.)
