If any provision or clause of this chapter or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect other provisions or applications of this article which can be given effect without the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this chapter are declared to be severable.(Added by Stats. 2011, Ch. 243, Sec. 3.
