30207. No licensee, or any other person, shall solicit deposits of securities or otherwise conduct the business of a licensee, by means of any statement or representation which is false, misleading, or deceptive, or which omits to state material information, or which infers that such licensee has been sponsored, recommended or approved or that his abilities or qualifications have in any respect been passed upon by the commisioner. The commissioner may order a licensee or other person to desist from any conduct which he shall find to be a violation of this section.(Added by Stats. 1972, Ch. 1057.)
