A charter school, including a charter school organized pursuant to Section 47604 of the Education Code, may be considered a public agency, as defined in Section 6500, for the purpose of being eligible for membership in a joint powers agreement for risk-pooling.(Added by Stats. 2000, Ch. 14, Sec. 1.
