§ 8351

8351. As used in this chapter:(a) 'Drug-free workplace' means a site for the performance of work done in connection with a specific grant or contract described in Article 2 (commencing with Section 8355) of an entity at which employees of the entity are prohibited from engaging in the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensation, possession, or use of a controlled substance in accordance with the requirements of this chapter.(b) 'Employee' means the employee of a grantee or contractor directly engaged in the performance of work pursuant to the grant or contract described in Article 2 (commencing with Section 8355) .(c) 'Controlled substance' means a controlled substance in schedules I through V of Section 202 of the Controlled Substances Act (21 U.S.C. Sec. 812).(d) 'Grantee' means the department, division, or other unit of a person or organization responsible for the performance under the grant.(e) 'Contractor' means the department, division, or other unit of a person or organization responsible for the performance under the contract.(Added by Stats. 1990, Ch. 1170, Sec. 1.)
