Every civil action commenced pursuant to this chapter or Division 7.8 (commencing with Section 8750) of the Public Resources Code at the request of the administrator shall be brought by the city attorney, the district attorney, or the Attorney General in the name of the people of the State of California, and any actions relating to the same event, transaction, or occurrence may be joined or consolidated.(Added by Stats. 1990, Ch. 1248, Sec. 17.
