8685.7. Any work performed by a state agency at the request of a local agency shall be agreed upon in writing and be subject to the State Contract Act. Work performed by a local agency shall be subject to the law governing the performance of that work by the local agency and applicable state and federal laws or regulations. Neither the state nor any officer or employee thereof shall have any responsibility in connection with any work performed by a local agency.(Amended by Stats. 1989, Ch. 1123, Sec. 5.
