§ 8666

If any section, subdivision, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase in this chapter, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is for any reason held invalid, the validity of the remainder of the chapter, or the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances, shall not be affected thereby. The Legislature hereby declares that it would have passed this chapter and each section, subdivision, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase thereof, irrespective of the fact that one or more sections, subdivisions, subsections, sentences, clauses, or phrases, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, be held invalid.(Added by Stats. 1970, Ch. 1454.)
