9223. Whenever the Speaker incurs expenses in connection with the work of an Assembly committee of which he is a member, whether an ex officio or otherwise, the Controller shall draw his warrant in payment of the claim for such expenses when it is certified either by the chairman of the committee or by the Speaker. The amount so paid shall be charged against the money allocated to the committee from the Assembly Contingent Fund.(Amended by Stats. 1973, Ch. 7.)
