§ 9356

9356. Each member of this system shall receive credit for service for time during which he or she holds office as a legislator after becoming a member of this system.A member may also receive credit for time during which he or she held office as a legislator prior to becoming a member, provided he or she makes contributions therefor to the Legislators’ Retirement Fund, as provided in Section 9357.2.(Amended by Stats. 2002, Ch. 664, Sec. 90.2.
