No witness is privileged to refuse to testify to any fact, or to produce any paper, respecting which he or she shall be examined by the Senate, Assembly, or a committee, upon the ground that the testimony to the fact or the production of the paper may tend to disgrace the witness or otherwise render the witness infamous.(Added by Stats. 1984, Ch. 1672, Sec. 1.5.)
