11017.1. Each state agency shall take all practical and reasonable steps to recover civil damages for the negligent, willful, or unlawful damaging or taking of state property under the jurisdiction of the state agency, including the institution of appropriate legal action.(Added by Stats. 1971, Ch. 1522.)
