11201. Each deputy appointed pursuant to Section 11200 shall serve at the pleasure of the director of the department in which he is appointed, and his salary shall be fixed by the director of that department in accordance with law. The deputy shall have such duties as may be assigned to him by the director of the department, and he shall be responsible to the director of the department for the performance of those duties.(Added by Stats. 1959, Ch. 1843.)
