'Transportation planning agency' means an entity designated by the secretary pursuant to Section 29532.For purposes of this part, the Counties of Imperial and Ventura shall serve as the transportation planning agency for their respective jurisdictions. The San Diego Metropolitan Transit Development Board shall serve as the transportation planning agency for its area of jurisdiction.(Added by Stats. 1979, Ch. 1120.)
