No county, city, or district may impose a special license or fee for social service transportation provided by a nonprofit social service transportation provider organization or by a for-profit transportation provider, operating under local license or franchise, which provides social service transportation pursuant to contract with a nonprofit social service transportation provider organization.(Added by Stats. 1982, Ch. 1390, Sec. 1.)
