As used in this part, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context:(a) 'Council' means the Civil Rights Council and 'council member' means a member of the council.(b) 'Department' means the Civil Rights Department.(c) 'Director' means the Director of Civil Rights.(d) 'Person' includes one or more individuals, partnerships, associations, corporations, limited liability companies, legal representatives, trustees, trustees in bankruptcy, and receivers or other fiduciaries.(Amended by Stats. 2022, Ch. 48, Sec. 33.
