The Governor may direct the Attorney General to appear on behalf of the state and may employ such additional counsel as the Governor deems expedient whenever a suit or legal proceeding is pending:(a) Against the state.(b) Which may affect the title of the state to property.(c) Which may result in a claim against the state.(Amended by Stats. 2021, Ch. 50, Sec. 10.
