The Governor may appoint for a period not to exceed 60 calendar days after the conclusion of the Governor’s term of office persons to assist the Governor in concluding matters arising out of the Governor’s official duties during the Governor’s last term.(Amended by Stats. 2021, Ch. 50, Sec. 11.
