Any person who fails to pay on a timely basis any liability or penalty imposed by or on behalf of any state agency or official, the People of the State of California, the State of California, or any liability or penalty otherwise imposed in any matter prosecuted by the Attorney General, shall be required to pay, in addition to that liability or penalty, interest, reasonable attorneys’ fees, and costs for any collection proceedings to enforce payment.(Added by Stats. 2006, Ch. 69, Sec. 3.
