The Attorney General shall bid upon and purchase, in the name of the state and under the direction of the Department of General Services, any property offered for sale under execution issued upon judgments in favor or for the use of the state, and enter satisfaction in whole or in part, of such judgments as the consideration for such purchase.(Amended by Stats. 1965, Ch. 371.)
