14613.5. The Department of the California Highway Patrol shall present to the host agency or family member designated by the host agency of any peace officer who is killed in the line of duty in California, the flag that was flown at half-staff over the State Capitol Building in memory of the officer and a memorial certificate.(Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 305, Sec. 24.
