§ 14660.5

14660.5. Whenever by statutory enactment or operation of law, a state agency is abolished or ceases to function, the control and possession of its assets, unless otherwise provided by law, shall vest in the Department of General Services for such use or disposition as the department may deem in the best interest of the state. In the event such state agency was entirely or substantially supported from a special fund, any moneys arising out of the use or disposition of such assets shall be deposited in such special fund or its successor fund. The unencumbered balance of the assets of a special fund which has been abolished or repealed shall be disposed of pursuant to Sections 16346 to 16350, inclusive.(Added by Stats. 1967, Ch. 1005.)
