15005. Notwithstanding Section 18932, the minimum age limit for appointment to the position of special or narcotic agent shall be 18 years, and the maximum age limit for examination shall be 40 years. The age limits set forth herein shall not affect the right of a special or narcotic agent to participate in promotional examinations.(Amended by Stats. 1971, Ch. 1748.
