15551. The Labor and Workforce Development Agency in state government is under the supervision of an executive officer known as the Secretary of Labor and Workforce Development. The secretary shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate, and shall hold office at the pleasure of the Governor.(Added by Stats. 2002, Ch. 859, Sec. 8.
