16416. The Controller shall keep a record of the money received from the United States on account of the federal flood control land in each county in this State. On or before June 30th of each year, he shall draw his warrant in favor of the treasurer of each county entitled to payment pursuant to this article. The Treasurer shall pay the warrants. All money deposited in the United States Flood Control Receipts Fund is appropriated to be apportioned to the counties of this State pursuant to this article.(Added by Stats. 1953, Ch. 1679.)
