20024. 'Current service' means all state service rendered by a member on and after the date upon which he or she first became a member, service in employment while not a member but after persons employed in the status of the member were eligible for membership, and public service designated as current service under Section 21034.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 379, Sec. 2.
