The highest annual average compensation during any consecutive 12- or 36-month period of employment as a member of any retirement system maintained by the university shall be considered compensation earnable by a member of this system for purposes of computing final compensation for the member providing he or she retires concurrently under both systems.(Amended by Stats. 2016, Ch. 415, Sec. 6.
