A person who has been retired under this system for service may be reinstated from retirement pursuant to this article, without regard to the requirements of Section 21196, upon his or her application to the board, if, upon reinstatement, he or she will be appointed by the Governor to any state office or employment.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 379, Sec. 2.
