21547.5. For any survivor receiving a monthly allowance pursuant to Section 21547 prior to January 1, 2000, that allowance shall be adjusted as of January 1, 2000, to equal the amount that the survivor would have been entitled to receive if the member’s death had occurred on or after January 1, 2000. The adjusted allowance shall be payable only on and after January 1, 2000.(Added by Stats. 1999, Ch. 457, Sec. 15. Effective September 21, 1999.)
