Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no funds in the retirement fund shall be expended for any purpose other than the cost of administration of this system, investments for the benefit of this system, the reduction of employer contributions, and the provision of benefits to the members and retired members of this system and their survivors and beneficiaries.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 379, Sec. 2.
