20197. All buildings and improvements constructed by the board under this article may contain space in excess of the immediate requirements of the board that, until needed, may be leased by the board upon those terms and conditions as may be approved by the board.The board may contract with the Department of General Services to handle the rentals of any excess space over and above that required by the board and to furnish general supervision and maintenance of buildings and improvements constructed under the provisions of this article.(Amended by Stats. 2010, Ch. 639, Sec. 1.
