20236. (a) The board shall provide the Legislature with an analysis of the asset and liability implications of each bill that would affect the investment strategy of this system, the funding of this system, or the benefit structure of this system. The analysis shall include an explanation of the methodology employed and the assumptions used in its preparation. Neither fiscal committee of the Legislature shall hear any such bill until the analysis has been provided to the committee.(b) There is hereby continuously appropriated, without regard to fiscal years, from the retirement fund, an amount sufficient to pay all costs arising from subdivision (a), but not to exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) in any one fiscal year.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 379, Sec. 2.
