Notwithstanding Sections 20303 and 20894, nothing shall act to prohibit the receipt of credit in this system, nor the payment of benefits relating thereto, for service that is also being credited in the federal system, and persons shall not be excluded from this system as to the service that is being credited in the federal system.(Amended by Stats. 1996, Ch. 906, Sec. 28.
