20428. 'Local police officer' shall also include any officer or employee of a contracting agency that is a city and county, in any employment in which he or she was a law enforcement member as defined by Section 20402 at the time of the assumption by the city and county of the function in which he or she was employed.(Added by Stats. 1995, Ch. 379, Sec. 2.
